relentless curiosity

today i noticed a subtle theme among many of the blogs i read.  on swerve, groeschel talked about “being good at something different.”  dave burchett wrote about a radical reliance on grace.  tim schrader synopsized seth godin’s talk from catalyst.  there were dozens of great one-line zingers among seth’s comments, but one really jumped on me…

Is it about compliance or relentless curiosity?

i really believe that compliance is crippling the church.  compliance to things familiar. compliance to conventional wisdom.  compliance to expedience.

father, i want to be relentlessly curious concerning you and your plans.
